Ryan Fabel

Ryan Fabel (b. 1980, Cincinnati, OH) is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. He received his MFA from WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis in 2010, and his BA from University of Cincinnati, DAAP, in 2003. From 2003-2005, he founded and operated David Shoe, an alternative art space located in a warehouse in Cincinnati, OH. From 2005-2007, he founded and ran Junior, a storefront gallery also located in Cincinnati, OH. Both spaces programing consisted of exhibitions, concerts and happenings. Ryan has worked on projects and exhibited at
White Flag Projects, St. Louis, MO, Kulturprojekte, Berlin, Germany, Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, MI, and Reference Art Gallery, Richmond, VA. Ryan has a solo exhibition at Jancar Jones Gallery, Los Angeles in January 2013.
