Jean-Pascal Flavien

Jean-Pascal Flavien was born at Le Mans in 1971 and lives and works in Berlin. His work was recently presented with solo exhibitions at Galerie Catherine Bastide (Berlin, 2011, 2009, 2008, 2005), the South London Gallery (England, 2012), breathing house at centre d’art du Parc Saint Léger, (France, 2012), Kunstverein Langenhagen (Germany, 2012), Gallery Michel Rein (Paris, 2010), no drama house, Galerie Giti Nourbakhsch, (Berlin, 2009), or the Museum of Contemporary Art Rochechouart (2008), as well as in group exhibitions as Melanchotopia to Witte de With (Rotterdam, 2011), Anfang gut. Alles gut. at Kunsthaus Bregenz / KUB Arena, Bregenz (Austria, 2011), For the Heart at the FRAC Bourgogne (2011), the Biennale of Sao Paulo / Capacete (Brazil, 2010), Projections in the Carré d’Art (Nimes, 2009), Micro-Nation Capacete the Friedrich Petzel Gallery (New York, 2008 ) or at the Lyon Biennial in 2007, and with Julien Bismuth performance for «I Was a Male Yvonne de Carlo ….» at MUSAC, Leon (Spain, 2011) and Plouf! at the Tate Modern (England, 2009), not to play with dead things, at Villa Arson (France, 2007).
