Bertrand Dezoteux’s works can be seen as visual statements, videos that make an effect of bring the viewer out of time & space. The artist is known for his ability to twist and deconstruct the codes of futurist films, developing them into an absurd dimension with various characters involved. He has created anticipation movies such as Roubaix 3000 (2007) or “animal documentary in 3D” such as Le Corso (2008). With a degree at Fresnoy – Studio of Contemporary Arts (2008), Dezoteux has been showed at Palais de Tokyo (2010), Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (2010), Fondation Ricard (Rest, 2008). Born in 1982, the artist lives and works between Bayonne and Paris.
